A primary goal of L.E. Schwartz & Son, Inc. and its subsidiary (Schwartz Precision Manufacturing) is to eliminate/control both known potential safety and health hazards, which employees face on the job. Safety and health are shared responsibilities. Everyone must take ownership in safety and support the goal of ZERO-ACCIDENTS in the work-place. Maintaining a safe, healthful work environment is not just an idea, it's a top priority within our work-centers. Most accidents are preventable. (Accidents and/or injuries which cannot be eliminated, shall be reduced through engineered or administrative controls, or as a final precaution, the use of personal protective equipment.) Everyone is responsible for identifying, reporting, and/or correcting hazards and potential risks within their work-center. Every employee shall be trained to perform his or her job safely. (Should an employee feel inadequately trained to perform a required task, he or she shall receive immediate notification). Each employee will consistently perform duties in a manner that is safe to everyone. As a condition of employment, each employee must consistently perform their said duties in a safe manner.
